Yes, you can change your display name on the “Profile & Appearance” page in settings. Type in your desired new name under “Display name” and click update to finalize the change.

Yes, you can change your associated email address on the “Account” page in settings.Type in your desired new email under “Email address” and follow the steps to change your email.

When you create an account with Xiaotian, a recovery key was generated that only you have access to. If you permanently lose your key, you will no longer be able to reset your password through this method (note you will still be able to reset your password if you have access to a browser you previously used). You also can switch account recovery on/off to generate a new recovery PDF. https://app.Xiaotian.org/settings/security

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by clicking the “Forgot password?” link on the app.Xiaotian.com sign-in page. The first step is to click the link emailed to the email address associated with your Xiaotian account. To reset your password, you will need either the code found on your recovery PDF (downloaded at the time of account creation) or access to a browser you have previously used to access Xiaotian. If you do not have access to a browser you previously used, or your recovery PDF, you can send an email to and support@Xiaotian.org we will be able to reset your account. If you decide to reset your account fully, you will however lose access to all the previously saved pages and files associated with your Xiaotian account.

Xiaotian users who created their accounts using MetaMask are able to log into Xiaotian mobile apps (iOS and Android) by following these steps: 1. Log in via browser on Desktop 2. Change your Password in the Settings menu 3. Then log in using your Eth address (found in the MetaMask browser extension) on your mobile device 4. Use the new password that you just set

Xiaotian notifies you via email when a team member directly references you in a shared page with an @[name] reference. You'll also receive emails when you are invited to additional Xiaotian Workspaces.

Yes, lots of teams already use Xiaotian as their primary collaboration tool. You can create a Xiaotian workspace, enabling you to easily manage and coordinate information-sharing for multiple teams under one organization.

Xiaotian has and will always be free to use. We offer a Pro tier, which gives individual users unlimited version history, increased storage, priority support and more. Xiaotian Credits are dollar-denominated credits which you can use to purchase a Xiaotian Pro plan. There are currently three ways for you to earn Xiaotian Credits at the moment. You can invite friends to sign up for Xiaotian, you can import documents from Google Docs, or you can download and log in to Xiaotian on the iOS mobile app.

Whenever you apply Xiaotian Credits, we transfer your credits to Stripe. Stripe keeps your credits for you and will discount any Xiaotian Pro plan you purchase by the total credits you have ever applied. So, if you applied some Xiaotian credits, rest assured that they will be stored in Stripe for safe-keeping until you use them.

Xiaotian currently supports in-page tables. You can sort, filter, and do much more with Xiaotian tables. To insert a table into a page, select the “Table” option in the “/” commands dropdown.

Xiaotian currently does not support alternative fonts and sizes.

Xiaotian currently does not support custom alignments.

You can upload .docx, .pdf, or .md files, or import documents directly from your Google Docs using our instant migration tool. You can also embed files of any type into your Xiaotian pages for collaborators to download. Read more about Xiaotian’s file embeds here.

Yes, Xiaotian currently supports Markdown within pages.

You can create a page within a parent page by either clicking the “Add page” button in your side panel or by selecting “Subpage” from the “/” command dropdown (See above section on “/” commands). A parent page will have a visible link to each of its associated pages. Each page can also be customized with a given icon, color, and title combination.

You can always use the Version History feature to view and restore previous versions of your pages. Free tier users can look back up to 24 hours; upgrade to Pro to access unlimited version history.

You can export a page by selecting the “More actions” button in the top right corner of your Xiaotian page. From the dropdown, select “Export” and decide which file type you would like to export to. Xiaotian currently supports .pdf, .docx, and .md file exports.

An everyone link is a link to a page which you can share with anyone you want, whether they have a Xiaotian account or not. You can decide if anyone with an “everyone link” should have the ability to edit your shared page or only have the option to view the shared page.

You can always add additional aliases by going to https://app.Xiaotian.org/settings/account and adding an additional alias. However, you cannot change your original email address or remove existing aliases.You can change your display name on the “Profile & Appearance” page in settings. Type in your desired new name under “Display name” and click update to finalize the change.

At the moment, you cannot change or remove aliases once they have been added.

Xiaotian does not store emails or attachments in plain text. Your Xiaotian Mail emails are always end-to-end encrypted by default.

Yes. The same account you use to login and access your Xiaotian pages, is the account you use to access Xiaotian Mail.

Xiaotian Mail provides users with 10Gb of free storage for their emails and attachments.
